Assemblies and open orders.

I sometimes have a customer order one of my assemblies but they request it ships in 2 months.
For example the order 1000 of assembly 1,  It used parts A B and C
I also sell Assembly 2 it used A B and D
Now part "A" I might only want to stock 500 re-order point of 300.  So I need to order extra to fill this customers order.   But until assembly 1 is "built" inventory on part "A" will not hit its re-order point.

How can I see that part A needs to be order even tho none of the assembly's have been built yet?
