Exact Value of Items in FIFO

We have just made the switch from Average costing to FIFO and I have an issue.  Our costs for items fluctuate and there are times when I need to know the actual vale of each item in my inventory not just the average value.  Is there a way I can get the actual value of each item and their place in the FIFO que?
