Assign specific Bin on Sales Order?

We are considering using Bins (despite all the issues it seems to cause for everyone else) and we are currently trialing this in our Beta.

We need to assign specific Bins when creating the sales orders due to the warehouse staff prints out picking tickets based on the assignments from the order dept.

It looks like we have to use the "preferred bin" rather than being able to choose a specific bin.

Did we miss something in our setup or is it really working as "intended"?
