inventory status types in NetSuite?

edited Nov 26, 2019 8:37AM in Accounting / ERP 7 comments

In SAP I have worked with different inventory status types.

For example you have "unrestricted" stock which is what is available from inventory to DRAW from either for shipping or manufacturing.etc..

You also have "quarantine" and "blocked" status types which allow you to track inventory in your system, but of course NOT be available to draw from. This is useful to manage inventory that may be expired or damaged but of course not risk fulfilling an order or manufacturing run with any of this stock type.

Is something like this available in NetSuite?

I could really use some type of "blocked" stock status.

Howdy, Stranger!
