Revision Control for Assembly Item
Hi all,
If we have a Lot Numbered Assembly/Bill of Materials Item comprising a 'standard recipe' of Inventory Items that we have entered into the Component sublist, but from time-to-time we slightly modify this 'standard recipe' by using other Components (for example to test how other ingredients may work in a given batch), then is the Revision Control feature the best practice option to set up and use?
If that's the case, then is it true that every time we wish to 'tweak' or tinker with our 'standard recipe', we'd need to create a new Item Revision?
Thanks kindly,
