Printed Picking Tickets System Notes Not Consistent
I'm seeing some inconsistencies with when the System Notes are being logged for the Printed Picking Ticket field. Some background: We use Multi-Location inventory and print bulk pick tickets using Transactions > Management > Print Checks & Forms > Picking Tickets. My Warehouse Manager has been taking screenshots of the picking queue before he prints any picking tickets, and we keep the picking tickets for 1 month, so I have a very accurate record of how these picking tickets are being printed.
Occasionally, I will see a sales order that does not have Printed Picking Ticket in the System Notes, however, it has been partially fulfilled or is pending billing. We use 3 main locations: UT, NC, & Drop Ship (used for our drop shipments). When an order has line items to be fulfilled out of NC & UT, it will log the System Note for Printed Picking Ticket, however, it does NOT log a System Note for Printed Picking Ticket for a sales order that has a line item shipping from Drop Ship. How does this happen? Is there a setting
