Show Who Created The Document On A Sales Order

I found this article in SuiteAnswers. Does anyone know what "Add a unique ID" would be on the criteria tab? Or can advise another way to show who created the document? I also tried Default Value = {systemnotes.name} on the validation and defaulting tab which just returns an error. Actually the default value = {systemnotes.name} does work. The error shows until you save the record. Makes sense...need more coffee
