Outbound Freight Costs for LTL and Truck Load Shipments
We need to add outgoing freight to an item fulfillment. This needs to be a posting field that will debit COGS for freight and credit Accrual.
On item receipts we use landed costs. This is exactly what we need for item fulfillments. We want to debit COGS and Credit accrual COGS - Freight.
How can we get this added? Reporting freight in real time is a necessity for our business.
We use the Shipping Cost field for small package shipments where we charge the recipient for shipping.
