inventory detail parent form

hello,

   The inventory detail from ( see screen shot) can be called from multiple parents, those parents are "inventory transfer" or "Item Receipt".   When in the "inventory detail" for is it possible to know if my parent is "Inventory transfer" or "Item Receipt".  the method

nlapiGetRecordType() appears to only work in the context of the current form and not the parent form.
