Converting a component to another item
Hello
New netsuite user as of the last few months. As our business is growing, we find ourselves in a few situations that are somewhat similar.
1) We have a few customers wanting to customize some of our products - they would purchase one of our vest, we would sew additional labels on them, and ship. How do we track the new COGS for converting the additional label within netsuite? The product is no longer our standard COGS for that vest or $40 as we will be paying $1.50 per label so our COGS would now be $41.50. Is there a process to convert these prior to issues the sales order?
