Kit Showing Available on Transactions Without All Components Available

A recent issue has cropped up where our team puts together a quote or sales order and kit items sometimes show as available, even if all of their components are not currently available.

We have a sublist set up on the kit itself that shows 0 available, so that is working as intended.

Any idea what might be driving this? Obviously, this could potentially cause issues, so I'd like to see a solution ASAP. Did not find any insight in SuiteAnswers.
