How to set up cycle counts to exclude weekends and holidays?

We are using daily cycle counts. I have the count interval 60 for each item. This works great except it doesn't exclude weekends and holidays. So, I am having to run a list of the daily count items with the next date and manually change the next date to a work day on each item.

This is very time consuming. I just know that I must be missing a very simple step but I have no idea what or where to fix it.
