How do you get a field added to the available NetSuite CSV Import mapped fields?

Hi,

I am updating Item records' Distribution Network fields via CSV import with data for the Distribution Network, Distribution Category, and Location Supply Type fields.  This worked fine for Inventrory & Assembly Items, but these fields are not available for CSV Import for the Lot Numbered and Serialized Assembly Items.
