Thank you to everyone for your passion, collaboration, and support. Here’s to building an even stronger community together in the year ahead!
Season’s greetings to you and yours! As we head into the holidays (December 24 – January 4), we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible strength and collaboration within our community. Even during the break, you can continue to benefit from connecting with peers, searching related threads, posting your questions, and marking helpful replies as “Accepted” in the Support Community.
Please note our dedicated team will be on reduced coverage during this time, and regular responsiveness will resume on January 5. Wishing you a joyful and restful holiday season!

Task Cancellation - Enhancement #23036 - Tasks > Ability to Create new Status and Priority Options
We have a series of 20 tasks created with each Opportunity that guide us through the sales process ensuring all steps are completed when Sales are successful.
We have Opportunities that ultimately are not successful but we have created the 20 tasks for each. The status of all these tasks is Not Started and the Assigned To: field is systematically "required" on the form (it is grayed out so I cannot uncheck it).
I am looking for a mechanism that allows us to continue to utilize standard NetSuite functionality around marking tasks Complete but still allows me to treat the tasks as Cancelled. Since the Opportunity is lost the tasks are in effect cancelled. Cancelled is not a delivered task status and we don't want these tasks to continue to appear in the Assignee's worklist.
