Transaction > Line Unique Key Changes when editing item "description"

What is the issue?

When a user edits the Line Item Description of an invoice which was created from the Bulk Invoice Processing Suiteapp, the system changes the Line Unique Key.

Why is this an issue?

We feed invoicing data to our planning tool (Adaptive) and use the Line Unique Key ID as the primary key for line item updates. Since the values change, we end up with duplicate records as the old keys were synced (and will never get updated again since the now longer associated to the invoice) and then when the keys change the new lines are added to the tool.
