Outsourced Manufacturing - How do we see the demand for outsourced manufacturing on our supply plans
Hi,
I am currently testing the outsource manufacturing feature as we have many sub assemblies that are built by external parties.
An example of our situation is:
1. We raise a sales order for a Finished good.
2. We create a work order is created at sales order line level.
3. Our Finished Goods have sub assemblies - some of which can be many layers deep. It would not be uncommon for us to have a finished good that is made up of 5+ sub assemblies and 3+ layers.
4. Say for a finished Good that has 6 sub assemblies there may be a sub assembly that is built by an external contractor.
