Mandatory Dimensions per account rules

Hi, a common request we see is a way for finance to customize what GL dimension should be mandatory or not depending on Account, subsidiary, or custom rules. Currently this seams to be not at all supported in NetSuite more than set a dimension as always mandatory for all postings which is not what the customers want.

As an use case example might be that you as a company want revenue to always be broken down by class, but it is not needed for operating expense transactions.

Are there standard solutions out there for this requirement or any plans to add this feature?
