exclude certain bin from quantity available

hello Gurus,

I have created a custom field on the serialized inventory item form in which I would like to display the quantity available but excluding the quantity in certain bins.

I have created a summary saved search (item) filtered on internal id of the item to use to populate the new custom field, but I am unable to identify the correct criteria to exclude quantity from certain bins.

can you offer any advice on this please
