Show Customer Related Transactions (specifically Estimates) When Searching By Customer Name

Per SuiteAnswers 23005 it states to put the customer name in the title field, however our title field has a title for the estimate and not the customer name. (Silly me!). Further research showed that we could create custom fields and source them to the customer name and mark Global Search however this is for transactions that are not estimates.

Is there any other way to show estimates in a Global Search when searching on a customer?
