Half-Year Depreciation convention

It appears that Half-Year convention deprecation methods are not current functionality in NS, based on another thread and

Enhancement 599072 Fixed Assets Management > Primary Depreciation Method > Option to Select Half-Year Convention

does NS have any workaround or custom method to accommodate this?
