Fulfilment and invoicing workflow
Hi,
I wanted to workout how to set up a workflow to automate the fulfilment of a sales order and then invoice it as a cash sale once it has been fulfilled.
The workflow would need to set the fulfilment to status 'picked' once the sales order is committed. This then triggers a message to be sent to our warehouse to fulfil the order. Once the order is fulfilled by the warehouse the system is automatically updated to shipped. Once the status is shipped then I would like the workflow to trigger the invoicing stage of the sales order which would generate a cash sale for this order.
