Update Pricing on Estimate (Quote) after Price Increase
By default, a Quote retains all pricing 'as it was' prior to any price increase applied in NetSuite.
Not only Custom Pricing, but Price Level pricing (where the price level price for that item has been increased) . So for example:
- Item 1 is priced at Base Price at £5 per item
- Quote is generated for 2 x Item 1 at Base Price £5 x 2 Total £10
- Pricing on Item 1 is increased - Base Price to £6 per item
- Quote still shows 2 x Item 1 at £5 x 2 Total £10
- (which I don't think is a problem - this is what was quoted at the time)
- Quote is converted to a Sales Order - this lists 2 x Item 1 at £5 x 2 Total £10
