I have set the 'use carton for single order picking' System rule value as 'N'. But during the outbound operations, when I select the picking option for single order items still I am getting an option to enter the carton number which is not required for me.

I am just wondering does I need to change any settings to eliminate this step?

My aim is to avoid entering the carton numbers. In enter single order, still, I am prompted to enter the carton number but for multi-order picking, the carton the number is not prompted to enter, which is working fine.
