We have a custom field that certain groups should not have access to change. However, we want them to be able to see the field in reports. I have the custom field set to "Run" for reports. The users with the "Run" level access cannot add the field to their searches, but if I as administrator add it to the search, they can see it when they run the search. Is this normal? I thought edit would allow them to edit the field from the report so I didn't want to give that access. Why wouldn't they be able to add it to the search?
