Custom Portlets in Employee Centre?

Hello!


We recently built a custom portlet to display birthdays and anniversaries, alongside a link to a company calendar containing more information. After creating the portlet, we wanted to push this on the Employee Centre dashboard and there doesn't seem to be an option when personalizing the dashboard to add a custom portlet.


Are custom portlets actually not allowed in Employee Centre dashboards? Is there any other work around?
