Global Subscription Preferences - changing Confirmed Opt-Out back to Opt-In
We have a Contact who at some point has Unsubscribed and is therefore Confirmed Opted-Out. He has now requested verbally to opt back in.
We checked the Field Help to see how to do this (as we couldn't simply Edit and change) and got the following message:
Opting back in via a link in an old email is not possible because he has deleted them. We therefore had to Edit the Customer and go to System Info>Access, select the Contact, untick Notify, manually Assign a password, Log in as Customer, Edit and update the Global Subscription Preference and select the various Campaigns.
