How to handle 'SSS_TIME_LIMIT_EXCEEDED' in map reduce even the map reduce runs for 20 mins?

Recently we created a map reduce script to create journal entries having 8000+ lines on each journal, while executing the script we are getting 'SSS_TIME_LIMIT_EXCEEDED' even the map reduce script runs only for 20 mins where as the standard limit is 60mins, could you please share what would be the reason the system throws this exception, because I read all NetSuite documentation and we are not exceeding 60mins, within 20mins getting this, please suggest how to overcome this!
