Cost of Goods Sold in Excel with SQL Query

Good day all. Before starting to develop, I thought I would ask if anyone out there has developed a SQL query (to be used with ODBC, data into Excel) to get COGS by Customer, by date.

I'm not even sure where to start with this process and don't want to spend days working on it it someone has already invented this wheel.
