Workflow: Set Field Value of Status / Probability on Opportunity
I've created a simple workflow that sets a number of default field values of an Opportunity transaction based on the User Role. Everything is working as designed * except * for the Opportunity Status / Probability fields.
Let's say under Setup -> Sales -> Customer Statuses our list contains the following entries:
Need Identified 10%
Budget Confirmed 30%
Buying Proces 40%
In the workflow, I've set the Opportunity/Estimate Status to a Static value of Budget Confirmed (using the Selection dropdown).
The value of Budget Confirmed appears correctly on a new Opportunity Transaction. However, the Probability % is not showing 30%. Instead its showing 10% which is associated with Need Identified (our default under Sales Preferences).
