Allow 'Other Asset Type' Accounts for Right-of-Use account on Lease
In the FAM module, NetSuite allows 'Other Asset' accounts to be available for setting up Asset Accounts on a FAM Asset. The Lease functionality, though, limits account types to 'Fixed Asset' and 'Other Current Assets' for Right-of-Use. Lease accounting does not allow 'Other Asset' type accounts.
Our Fixed Asset accounts are currently under Other Asset type including Right-of-Use. This was implemented 6 years ago prior to lease functionality being available. Now, in implementing Lease accounting, this is impacting our setup.
Why doesn't the lease functionality allow 'Other Asset' type account? Is this on a roadmap to permit?
