"PASS URL PROMOTION CODE TO CHECKOUT" not an option on web site set up

How come "PASS URL PROMOTION CODE TO CHECKOUT" is available on our sandbox account but not an option on the web site set up record for our production account? I would like to use this feature. What do I need to do to enable it?
