Vendor Center and Project Resource

You can designate a vendor as a project resource and assign them to a project task, but on the Vendor Center dashboard there is no way to display the list of assigned project tasks. They can add a time entry and be able to select the task to assign the time to, but no way to see what task they've been assigned to.

I found a blog article that said that its possible to use scripting to update the Vendor Center Home Links portlet to include a link for tasks, but it did not say how this was done.

I'm looking for help to allow vendors to be able to see their assigned tasks, has anyone done this?
