Is it possible to search custom fields on a custom record?

Hi all,

I'm trying to create a search using the N/search module on a custom record type.

Within this search object I would like to filter the results using a custom field, however I cannot seem to get it to work.

I've tried using search.createFilter() as well as just using the custom field id as a 'regular' search filter, but without success.


Is this possible? Am I overlooking something?

The Oracle Docs leave me none the wiser.
