Subsidiary Hierarchy Modification with Automated Intercompany Management enabled

Currently in the process of testing out subsidiary hierarchy changes in sandbox environment using the modification feature. Since elimination subsidiaries cannot be updated for parent, how best to move the transactions under the elimination subsidiary to the new structure?

Comparing financials before and after the hierarchy resulted in a variance due to the eliminations not following the child subs that moved under a new parent.
