This Suite Answers ID suggests using the field {appliedtotransaction.applyinglinktype} to show if a Purchase Order is linked to a Sales Order as a 'Special Order' or 'Drop Ship'

The type of link is shown on the Sales Order under related records:

However, if there are also Fulfilment transactions on the Sales Order (as above) the field lookup on the PO will show 'Receipt/Fulfilment'


Which is not helpful.

How do we accurately determine from the Purchase Order how it was created?
