AE: Restlet Suitescript create assemblybuild with inventory detail

edited Jan 26, 2022 1:38PM in Ask A Guru 4 comments

Hi,

Using a restlet v2.1, I would like to build an assembly for each item in a sales order, the items in the sales order are lot numbered assembly items.

I have tried the below to create an assemblybuild but I get an error saying the subsidiary is missing:

var assBld = record.create({

type: record.Type.ASSEMBLY_BUILD,

        defaultValues: {

          item: item.itemId,

          location: item.location,

          quantity: item.quantity

        },

        isDynamic: true

      });

      var assBldId = assBld.save();

however if I try inserting a subsidiary using the below code I get an error: "You have entered an invalid default value for this record initialize operation.\"

Howdy, Stranger!
