Fixed Assets Management- Asset Lifetime Change

How are you?
We have some fixed assets that already started the depreciation process and we need to change the asset lifetime. Most of them have the 60 months lifetime and it will be changed to 36.
Is there any way to automatically calculate the monthly value of depreciations and the final date?
We've tried to change but the values that will be depreciated also the final dates remains the same.
Also, I've found that we can update all the depreciation history for each assets, but we will change something around 1000 fixed assets and I'm trying to find a better way to do this.
