Advanced BOM Naming Conventions?

Does anyone have a good recommendation on naming convention to use on Advanced BOM's?

The system does not allow for you to rename legacy ABOM's and there does not appear to be a logical approach for naming the BOMs.

SuiteAnswers suggests:

For example, change Engineering V1 BOM to Engineering V2 BOM.

But this is not a great naming convention IMHO
