Allocating revenue against project/sub-project

edited Jan 24, 2022 7:38PM in Accounting / ERP 12 comments

Hi folks,

We have the following scenario:

  • We have projects with many sub-projects underneath.
  • The project is directly linked to the Sales Order and Invoices. So, the revenue will be in the project level.
  • The sub-project will trigger WOs and POs. So, the COGS will be in the sub-project level.

To get the profit (revenue minus COGS) it would be necessary to have data in the same level. But they are not (project and sub-project).

How would be possible to get rentability in this case ?

TIA

Howdy, Stranger!
