How can I link 2 custom lists?

We have 2 custom list specifying Product Category and then Product Sub-Category. I would like to combine them so that whatever is selected in the Product Category list will only show the available related options from the sub-category list. Right now they currently showing all sub-category selections. Please review the example below. Here is what I'm looking to do: If Product Category "actuators & couplers" is selected I only want the items highlighted in YELLOW to be available in the Product Sub-Category list. Same with the GREEN highlight.
