AE: Workflow that updates checkbox in line items of Purchase Orders

Hi All,

We are maintaining a custom field (checkbox) called "Close" that shows if the line is close or not.

We have an additional custom field that shows how many from this line are already billed and if the result is equal or less than zero, the "Close" check box should be marked up.

what is the best way to do it automatically in the system?

Workflow?

Formula?

please advise and let me know how to do it.
