Oauth 2.0

NetSuite has two schemas to choose from:

  1. SuiteTalk, which is a SOAP API model.
  2. SuiteQL, which is a model for REST APIs.

Questions -

1) Is the above statement correct ?

2) If I want to use SuiteQL, I need to do the OAUTH 2.0 Setup ?

3) I am using python (3rd Party ODBC Driver).

I cannot use USER and PASSWORD Authentication any more. Is that Correct ?


4) If I have to do the OAuth Set up, Can Only the Administrator do the set up ?

also can you please point me to the Documentation on how to do the OAuth Setup.
