Account Fields - Sub Account Of

in Ask A Guru 5 comments

I can use the Account Fields - Sub Account Of option in the Criteria for a search to find all transactions that are posted to accounts under this parent account.

But I can't use this option in a Formula field?

I believe the field name is {account.parent} but I can't use that directly in a formula either.


Is there any way to access the parent account of the account used in a transaction in a formula??
