Project Preferences: USE ALLOCATED TIME FOR FORECAST

Good day,

We want to use allocated time for our project forecast reports.

I noticed that the USE ALLOCATED TIME FOR FORECAST checkbox needs to be selected on the Preferences tab, but the checkbox is inactive.

How do I activate the checkbox to select it?

I really appreciate any help you can provide.
