Journal Entry Approval Workflow - Approver Does Not See JE & Nothing in Reminders

Hello Gurus!

I have a situation where the JE approval workflow works because after entering the JE, the approve and reject buttons appear and the status changes to pending approval.

However, approver does not see this JE to approve. It does not appear in Reminders when JEs to approve item is added to Reminders.

What could be causing this disconnect? I looked at the workflow log and everything seems ok.
