Planned Time Management

Hi all,


what is the best way to maintain the system created planned time entries? NS allows one resource assignment per Task so i`m having some difficulties in finding the best solution to accommodate changes to the planned time.

  1. Scenario 1 : Let`s say we have a 30h task, duration 2 months (start date 1-jan, end date 28-feb) and one resource assigned. what is the best way to have the resource be assigned between these exact dates and the 30h spread out evenly by the system?
  2. Scenario 2: Given the above situation, if i were to change the date and number of hours on a planned time entry that gets generated by the system, this planned time gets automatically converted into actual time (see SA 86209). How can i adjust the planned time without it being converted into actual time? I may have situations when on a certain week with 5 planned time entries (of let`s say each of 2 h) i need to have just one day with 3h and the remaining 4 days will be removed and pushed to the next week for
