Specific Cost and current value per Serial Numbers On Hand of Serialized Items

We need to be able to see each item serial no. on its own row along with it's actual specific cost price and its current value on a certain date.

I have been able to get this result set in a summary saved search but it only works for the current date.

Since we need it be able to pull the data for previous dates i believe i would need to either do this in a report or else pull some kind of system notes into the saved search.

Can you provide any advice on this please?
