Is there any way we can set capitalization threshold based on which asset proposal should be created
Hi All,
I am looking for any workaround to set capitalization thresholds based on which asset proposal should be created in NetSuite.
Use case is the company has multiple subsidiaries in different countries. Based on country specific statutory asset policies, an item should be expensed in one country and the same item should be capitalized as an asset in other country.
E.g., In USA, if a laptop is bought for $1000 then its an expense (as per US asset policy, capitalization threshold is $5000) whereas in India laptop should be considered as an asset (as per Indian asset policy, any expense greater than 5000 INR should be considered as an asset)
