Unexplainable gaps in Budget VS Actual Report

Hi Guys,


I was wondering if you might be able to explain to me this issue I am experiencing with one of our finance report.

We have create a custom record for the Account object (Budget Item) and we have added this a column in the report.

For some of the accounts (not all) it creates this unexplainable split and there is this odd gap which I can put my finger on why this is. I have added some screenshots as reference, thank you in advance and please let me know if you have any questions.
