Converting List of Test strings into numerical values

We have a subtab in our projects that summarize a project with a series of Yes/No variables, like a survey.

We would like to use a search to compile those Yes/No values into a job scoring. I am having a hard time using the formula to convert any Yes into a 1 and any No into a 0. I'm guessing this is a simple syntax problem that I am missing. Any help is appreciated.
